Sergey Gorinsky, first European member of COMSNETS

Dr. Sergey Gorinsky, a Research Associate Professor at IMDEA Networks Institute, has become the first European member of the international COMSNETS Association. Gorinsky has been invited to join its executive committee.  In this role he will be able to influence the association’s scientific endeavors and promote collaborative activities between COMSNETS and the Madrid-based research Institute.

The Association promotes activities related to Communications, Networking, Security, Communication Middleware, Software and related areas such as Applications and Services. It acts as the steering committee for COMSNETS conferences, which constitute a premier international conference series in networking and communication systems. Now in its seventh edition, COMSNETS conference has become a world-class gathering of researchers from academia and industry, practitioners, business leaders, intellectual property experts and venture capitalists, providing a forum for discussing cutting edge research, and directions for new innovative business and technology. The next iteration of this yearly event will take place in January 2015, in Bangalore (India).
