Carlos Donato, new PhD Student

22 April 2014

Carlos Donato Morales has become a member of our research team. He will be working as a PhD Student from April 2014. His main areas of interest lie in wireless communications, mobile networks, computer networks and network programming.

Prior to his incorporation, Carlos was enrolled in a 6 month internship at NEC Laboratories Europe (Heidelberg, Germany). During that period he collaborated on the European project iJOIN*, which is coordinated by IMDEA Networks, developing a simulator of mobile networks based on LTE-A technology. Previously, he worked on his Bachelor Thesis at the Telematics Department of University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M) being responsible for the implementation of one of the three proposed demos for the European project MEDIEVAL** to be presented at the final audit of the project conducted last autumn. Those testbed demonstrations won the approval of European Commission reviewers present for their successful account of the project’s research objectives.

Carlos obtained his B.Sc. degree in Telematics Engineering from UC3M and he has just enrolled on the Masters Degree in the same discipline at the said university.
