Dr. Narseo Vallina-Rodríguez, from the Madrid research Institute IMDEA Networks and also affiliated to ICSI from Berkeley (USA), is interviewed for the evening edition of the Spanish news program ‘Telediario’ of the main Spanish public news channel RTVE, about his work on the questionable use that ‘apps’ make of our personal data.

In particular, the work focuses on Android ‘apps’ aimed at children, who are becoming intensive users of tablets and phones. The apps extract personal data from the minors, even without these (or rather their parents, who are the ones legally responsible), having accepted to provide it.
