IMDEA Networks’ Pervasive Wireless System Group headed by Prof. Domenico Giustiniano invites applications for a PhD position in the area of wireless systems for 5G and beyond. As a member of the team, the researcher will be involved in cutting edge research, will participate in the TAPIR-CM project with academic partners, and will perform experimental work with other team members and international collaborators.

Skills Required
- Very good publication record in top academic conferences and journals
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Very good organization and communication skills
Academic Qualifications
- Bsc in computer science, telecommunication engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
Experience
- Experience in building systems and experimental work in the area of wireless systems
- Experience in one of the core areas of the group (5G localization, visible light communication/LiFi – openvlc.org, large scale spectrum sensing – electrosense.org) will be considered a plus but it is not compulsory
Contract Duration & Type
- Until end of project 31/12/2022
- Full-time contract. Includes social and health benefits
