On Wednesday, the 13th of November, will take place the next meeting of ESNOG/GORE (España Network Operators Group / Grupo de Operadores de Red Españoles), at the Polytechnic School (Leganés Campus) of the University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M). The meeting is sponsored by the Cátedra Telefónica de la UC3M and ESPANIX (Punto neutro Español de Internet). This is a workshop that will schedule a series of lectures and panel discussions on Internet at the network level.
The Network Operators Group Spanish (ESNOG) is a forum integrated by Spanish telecom operators, academic networks and providers of network services. ESNOG aims to be a meeting place for the exchange of technical, operational experience and engineering knowledge related to Internet infrastructure services. For this purpose, ESNOG organizes meetings every 6 months (previous editions of this event have been held in Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao), presented as an open forum to enhance cooperation and coordination among Spanish networks through the open exchange among professionals of this sector. This time the schedule includes the DNS/DNSSEC Workshop and a presentation by RIPE NCC about applicable policies in the current state of IPv4.
This forum is aimed to and formed by telecoms operators, academic networks and network service providers, among others.
