IMDEA Networks’ Pervasive Wireless System Group, headed by Prof. Domenico Giustiniano, invites applications for one research engineer position in the area of Electronics, Embedded Systems, Robotics, and Wireless Communication.

As a member of the team, the researcher will contribute to cutting-edge research on Optical Wireless Communication (OWC) applied to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

Skills Required

• Solid background with electronic design, embedded systems
• Experience building research prototypes
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
• Very good organization and communication skills
• Proficiency in English
• Optional: background in utilizing additive manufacturing (3D printing), background in telemetry for drones, and prior experience in industry is welcome

Academic Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc degree in electronic engineering, electrical engineer or similar
