IMDEA Networks is participating in the 14th edition of the Madrid es Ciencia Fair, a scientific outreach event organized by the Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d, aimed at both the school community and the general public.
At our stand, you will find a wide range of interactive activities to enjoy and learn about technology. Discover in a fun way how binary and decimal number systems work, and experiment with the famous 7-segment displays. Additionally, you’ll be able to explore electromagnetic wave phenomena using state-of-the-art radar and dive into the world of quantum computing in an easy-to-understand way.
We also challenge you to test your skills with artificial intelligence games, where you can guess words using algorithms, learn how to transmit data through light, and discover the secrets of blockchain. If you’re passionate about computer vision, don’t miss our interactive demonstrations: from a space rocket challenge to emoji facial recognition (without recording, ensuring your privacy). We’ll also show you how the Dijkstra algorithm works to find the shortest path in a network, such as between a Netflix content server and your TV.
Furthermore, to inspire the next generation, we’ve prepared a game that celebrates the contributions of women in science and technology.
We look forward to seeing you there!
