Biography

I am a Ph.D. student and Research Fellow at IMDEA Networks Institute and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, as part of the Resilient AI Networks Lab and the Networks Data Science Group. Previously, I completed my Master’s in Electronic Information Engineering at Trinity College Dublin (where I worked on federated learning architectures for constrained devices) and my Bachelor’s at KIIT University, India, and worked as an Electrical Engineer at TATA Voltas Limited, Dubai, UAE.

My research interests broadly include applied reinforcement learning and symbolic AI for networked systems. In particular, I study how operator knowledge expressed in first-order logic can be built into learning agents as the critic’s value space, as explanations of a trained policy, and as a means to steer policy and verify it at deployment. Parallelly, I also work on applied ML for systems with a focus on adaptive bitrate streaming and MIMO user scheduling. My work has appeared in IEEE INFOCOM 2025 and 2026. Currently, I am a visiting PhD student at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, PA, USA.
