An Intra-European Fellowship (IEF) for career development is a Marie Curie Action aimed at providing an individual grant allowing an Experienced Researcher to move within Europe to pursue a particular research project. The fellowship is designed for researchers willing to develop their career in Europe outside their home country. Thus, researchers based in EU Member States or Associated Countries are eligible to apply. The basic requirements are to be in possession of a doctoral degree or to have at least 4 years’ full-time research experience, after having obtained a degree that permits the researcher to embark on a doctorate. Generally, the project must be carried out on the premises of a host organization in an EU or Associated Country other than the researcher’s. Special consideration is also given to those returning to a research career after a break.
