IMDEA Networks’ Wireless Networking Group headed by Prof. Joerg Widmer invites applications for a research engineer position in the area of millimeter-wave networking. Depending on the candidate’s skills, the post-doctoral researcher will work on testbed design and measurements for millimeter-wave networking and communications. As a member of the millimeter-wave team, the researcher will be involved in cutting edge research and experimental work as well as close interaction with PhD students.

Skills Required

• Strong background in wireless networking and communications
• Excellent practical engineering and problem solving skills
• Very good organization and communication skills

Academic Qualifications

• MSc in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field

Experience

• Experience in building systems and experimental work in the area of wireless networking

Contract Duration and Type

• 12 months, renewable based on performance.
• Full-time contract. Includes social and health benefits.
