Edge Networks Group at IMDEA Networks Institute invites applications for a Research Engineer position. Undergraduate students with background in computer science, ECE, or related field are encouraged to apply. Successful candidate will work with IoT devices and study the problem of how to better support emerging deep learning applications in Edge Intelligence Systems.

Eligibility: It is necessary that the applicant have NIF or NIE and a residence/work permit in Spain. Also, the applicant must not have been employed by IMDEA in the SIX months prior to the start date of the contract. These are the requirements from the funding that supports this position.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelors in computer science, communication engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field with a solid academic record.

Skills Required:

• Programming skills in at least one language, preferably C/Python. Hands on experience with system implementation is an added plus.
• Background in machine learning is added plus.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
