Research engineer in the area of LiFi technology

IMDEA Networks’ Pervasive Wireless System Group headed by Prof. Domenico Giustiniano invites applications for one research engineer position in the area of LiFi technology. As Internet of Things (IoT) devices are getting miniaturized, new challenges must be addressed to communicate, compute and sense. As a member of the team, the researcher will contribute to the research conducted in the team in LiFi as part of EU and national projects.

Skills Required for the position:

• The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in electronic circuit and PCB design, prototyping and testing as well as knowledge of low-level programming
• Proficiency in English is mandatory
• Solid background in embedded systems and communication

Contract Duration & Type

Contract duration: 12 months, renewable based on performance and funding sources
Hours per week: Full time

Academic Qualifications

MSc degree title in Electronic Engineering or similar disciplines
