IMDEA Networks Institute invites applications for research assistants in the area of cybersecurity. The selected candidate will become a member of the Cybersecurity group led by Dr. Guillermo Suarez-Tangil.
The candidate will conduct cutting-edge research in the area of cybersecurity and network measurements, with a focus on developing advanced mechanisms to understand and mitigate real-world problems in cybersecurity like malware and other forms of cybercrime that stem from underground markets and the challenges behind developing automated (ML-based) solutions, like concept drift and adversarial learning. The open-ended goal is to develop data-driven approaches for cybersecurity.

Eligibility: It is necessary that the applicant have NIF or NIE and a residence/work permit in Spain. Also, the applicant must not have been employed by IMDEA in the SIX months prior to the start date of the contract. These are the requirements from the funding that supports this position.
Candidates must be aged between 16 and 29 and be enrolled as job seekers in the Spanish Employment Offices at the moment the contract is signed.
