IMDEA Network invites applications for a postdoc position in the area of network measurements for the Internet Analytics Group headed by Dr. Narseo Vallina-Rodriguez and in collaboration with Prof. Juan Tapiador (UC3M). The researcher will be involved in cutting edge research, will participate in international projects and will help in the supervision of PhD students. The postdoc will work on addressing challenging problems in the area of network protocols, and IoT/mobile security.

Skills Required

• Data analysis background
• Proven background in the area of network measurements and cybersecurity
• Research independency and critical thinking
• Very good organization and communication skills

Requirements

• PhD in computer science or a related field
• Very good research record, with publications in top academic conferences such as IMC, NDSS, CCS, Usenix Security, IEEE Symposium on S&P)
• Proficiency in English is mandatory

Contract Duration & Type

• 6 months, renewable up to 18 months based on performance
