IMDEA Networks’ Pervasive Wireless System Group headed by Prof. Domenico Giustiniano invites applications for a PhD position in the area of LiFi technology for Internet of Small Things. As IoT devices are getting miniaturized, new challenges must be addressed to communicate, compute and sense. As a member of the team, the researcher will join a well-known research group in the field (see also https://openvlc.org) and investigate LiFi for miniaturized IoT devices in the framework of a recently accepted EU project.

Skills Required

• Background in wireless systems and/or embedded systems
• Hands-on experience with experimental work is desired, but not mandatory
• Proficiency in English is mandatory

Academic Qualifications

• MSC/BSc in computer science, telecommunication engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field with a solid academic record
