IMDEA Networks is one of the seven IMDEA research institutes founded in 2006 by Comunidad de Madrid. Its mission is to do research of excellence in networking, contributing to tackle the challenges of society and fostering the sustainable development of the region of Madrid. http://www.networks.imdea.org
Within this context, IMDEA Networks launches this Call to fill the position of Director of the Institute.
The selected Director is expected to lead the Institute, driving its scientific excellence and technology transfer activities. The Director will be responsible for:

In accordance with the Institute’s Bylaws, the Director shall be appointed by the Board of Trustees among persons of prestige in the field of networking, qualified for the position and with demonstrable experience in directing groups, projects and institutions.
Candidates will be evaluated based on requirements and eligibility criteria. The Scientific Council shall advise the Board of Trustees in the selection process.
