2 PhD positions in Mobile Network Data Analysis

The Networks Data Science group at IMDEA Networks Institute has an opening for two PhD students in the area of mobile network traffic analysis for urban social sciences. The successful candidates will explore large-scale real-world datasets of mobile app traffic collected in operational networks towards discovering knowledge relevant to the sociology, geography and economics of cities.

Skills Required

  • A degree in Computer Science or related field, with a solid academic record
  • Strong programming skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research
  • Previous experience in data analysis (not mandatory, but appreciated).
