European Researchers’ Night Madrid 2025, coordinated by the Fundación para el Conocimiento madrimasd, is part of the European Horizon Europe programme. More than 350 European and Ibero-American cities take part in this celebration.
On Friday, September 26, at the Assembly Hall of the Residencia de Estudiantes in Madrid, researchers from the IMDEA Institutes will invite us to reflect on the importance of science for the present and future of the Planet. This year, the audience will take center stage by answering the question: “If you could make only one wish to science, what would it be? And what if you could make three?”
The seven IMDEA Institutes will present their research from different scientific areas —Water, Energy, Materials, Nanoscience, Networks, Nutrition, and Software— showing how their work is already helping to make society’s scientific wishes come true. While not genies like Aladdin, IMDEA researchers are brilliant in their work and demonstrate that science can improve our lives and protect our Planet.
The event can also be followed live on the Residencia de Estudiantes channel:http://www.edaddeplata.org/.
