This year we have experienced two major milestones at IMDEA Networks: we have celebrated 15 years doing cutting-edge science and technology and our Alumni network has reached 50 people. To celebrate we have decided to have an event on December 12th from 10:30-13:30h.

First, we will enjoy our traditional winter chocolate with churros. Afterward, the directive team will review the achievements of IMDEA Networks in the last 15 years and talk about the research lines we are working on and will focus on in the coming years. Our Deputy Operations and Communications Manager, Marta Dorado, will talk about how we have evolved and where we are heading. Besides, we will have talks from three of our Alumni (they will explain how IMDEA Networks helped them to grow professionally) and two of our Scientific Council members (Ralf Steinmetz and Jim Kurose) will talk about how our research center is seen in the world.
