Biography

Ruben Thilo Severin Wendt joined the Network Data Science group of IMDEA Networks in November 2025 to pursue his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Marco Fiore. He studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the TH-Nuremberg, Germany in a joint program with Siemens followed by a Master of Science degree in Applied Research in Engineering Sciences. After graduation in 2022, Thilo started his career as an Embedded Software Developer working on real-time control Systems at Zeiss SMT, a world leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Throughout his career, Thilo developed profound skills in Linux administration, container technologies and low level software development for embedded systems.
