Wireless Networking Group (WNG) at IMDEA Networks Institute invites applications for a Research Engineer position. Applicants with background in telecommunications, computer science, electronics, or related field are encouraged to apply. Successful candidate will work setting up architectures for wireless communication systems with strong practical component. The candidate will work closely with Ph.D. students and researchers from the group to shape the design of next-generation networks.

Eligibility: It is necessary that the applicant have NIF or NIE and a residence/work permit in Spain. Also, the applicant must not have been employed by IMDEA in the SIX months prior to the start date of the contract. These are the requirements from the funding that supports this position.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelors or MSc. in computer science, communication engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field with a good academic record.

Skills Required:

• Programming skills on Matlab / Python.
• Basic understanding of electronic laboratory equipment: oscilloscope, signal generators, power sources.
• Basic understanding of wireless communication systems.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
