Project Administrator in the Opportunistic Architectures Laboratory and the Internet Analytics Group

We invite applications for a Project Administrator for the administrative and economic management as well as the organization of dissemination activities in the frame of research projects active in the OppArchLab, led by Vincenzo Mancuso, and the Internet Analytics Group, led by Narseo Vallina.

Skills Required

• Experience in administrative and economic management of grants.
• Must be able to meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Excellent organisational, planning skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels
• IT Skills to support project delivery e.g., MS Office suite including Excel
• Excellent written and oral communications skills, with the ability to work and communicate with a wide range of audiences and stakeholders
• Languages: English B2 at least, both written and oral
• Experience with science communication and outreach activities is an advantage
• Knowledge of the H2020/Horizon Europe environment will be appreciated

Main tasks:

• Program support
• Management of scientific results
• Liaison with the entities, organisms or companies that are interested in the project
• Financial and administrative management
• Assistance to the Principal InvestigatorsOrganise physical and online meetings: agenda, minutes, venues
• Organise workshops, summer schools and secondments of 15 PhD Students
• Follow-up exploitation, dissemination and open science action
• Implement communication actions (newsletters writing, project’s website update, interviews, public engagement etc.)
• Daily management and implementation of the project in close relation with the Project Coordinator and with the support of the university department for Research and Innovation.
• Teamwork, patience, communication skills.

Academic Qualifications

•  Bachelor in law, International Relations, Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration.

Contract Duration & Type:

• 1 year, renewable.
• Competitive salary. Candidate’s experience will be considered.
