PostDoc Researcher position in 6G Localization

IMDEA Networks’ Pervasive Wireless System Group headed by Prof. Dr. Domenico GIUSTINIANO invites applications for one PostDoctoral Researcher position in the area of 6G localization. As a member of the team, the researcher will be involved in cutting edge system research together with academic and industrial partners, will participate in international projects, and will experimentally verify proposed ideas and concepts. All work will be carried out using 5G-NR open platforms and will demonstrate the potential of 6G for positioning services using both terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks. The researcher will work in close interaction with the research team at IMDEA Networks and with international collaborators.

Skills Required

The candidate should have the following skills:

• Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
• Very good organization and communication skills
• Experience in building research prototypes in the area of Localization

Requirements

•   Very good publication record in top academic conferences and journals
•   PhD in computer science, telecommunication engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, (note that the PhD Degree has to be obtained before the start of the labour contract)
•   Proficiency in English
