PostDoc position on 5G and Visible Light Communication Systems

IMDEA Networks’ Pervasive Wireless System Group headed by Prof. Domenico Giustiniano invites applications for a postdoc position in the area of Visible Light Communication Systems. Areas of applications range from greenhouses to unmanned underwater. As a member of the team, the researcher will be involved in cutting edge research, will participate in international projects with academic and industrial partners, and will perform experimental work with close interaction with PhD students and international collaborators.

Skills Required

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

•  Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
•  Very good organization and communication skills
•  Experience in building systems and experimental work
•  Experience in at least one of the following areas: visible light communication, backscatter communication, energy harvesting, underwater.

Requirements

•  Very good publication record in top academic conferences and journals
•  PhD in computer science, telecommunication engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
•  Proficiency in English is mandatory
