IMDEA Networks’ Wireless Networking Group headed by Prof. Joerg Widmer invites applications for a postdoc position in the area of machine learning systems for wireless sensing and communications. The post-doctoral researcher will work on all aspects of machine learning design and implementation for sensing and communication systems, including efficient ML models for signal processing tasks (e.g., angle estimation, ranging, Doppler extraction), implementation and acceleration of ML algorithms on FPGA and embedded platforms, hardware/software co-design for real-time inference, and learning-based approaches for integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) at millimeter-wave and sub-6 GHz frequencies.
As a member of the wireless team, the researcher will be involved in cutting edge research and practical implementation of ML-based wireless systems, including FPGA prototyping and experimental validation, as well as close interaction with PhD students.
For further details about Prof. Widmer’s research activities, visit his publication record.
Candidates should send the following information as .pdf or .doc attachments to Joerg Widmer
Candidates should submit a CV including at least a list of publications, and a summary of both educational and previous work experience, and previous research projects.
Names and email addresses of at least 2 references will be required.
