IMDEA Networks Institute invites applications for a fully-funded Ph.D position in the area of cybersecurity. The selected candidate will become a member of the Internet Analytics Group headed by Dr. Narseo Vallina-Rodriguez, and will conduct exciting empirical research to detect and characterize unknown security and privacy threats associated with smart home technologies, cross-device tracking methods, or vulnerabilities in the software supply chain (SBOMs).

C. in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or related areas.
English proficiency is mandatory
Good organisation and communication skills.
Experience in any of the following technologies will be positively considered: reverse engineering, protocol analysis, and dynamic analysis (e.g., Frida)
