The NETCOM group is recruiting a PhD student to join the group and research in the field of Generative AI for Cyber-Threat Defense.
- The research will target
- Design and train GenAI models to detect, explain, and counter emerging attacks.
- Publish in top security & ML venues and collaborate with industry partners.

Required skills:
- Degree / Master in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in machine learning / deep learning (coursework or projects).
- Interest in the cybersecurity topic
- Coding skills (Python; PyTorch/TensorFlow a plus).
- Ability to teamwork.
