PhD position in the field of Generative AI for Cyber-Threat Defense

The NETCOM group is recruiting a PhD student to join the group and research in the field of Generative AI for Cyber-Threat Defense.

• The research will target
  • Design and train GenAI models to detect, explain, and counter emerging attacks.
  • Publish in top security & ML venues and collaborate with industry partners.

• Required skills:

  • Degree / Master in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in machine learning / deep learning (coursework or projects).
  • Interest in the cybersecurity topic
  • Coding skills (Python; PyTorch/TensorFlow a plus).
  • Ability to teamwork.
