PhD position in generative AI for Mobile networks

The NETCOM Lab Group are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to undertake cutting-edge research at the intersection of generative AI and beyond-5G radio access networks. The selected researcher will have the opportunity to explore a range of topics, including but not limited to:

• Applications of generative AI for network optimization
• Novel use cases for the application of generative AI in next-generation mobile networks (6G)
• Development and evaluation of 6G prototypes enhanced by generative AI
• Theoretical modeling of the impact of generative AI on 6G network architectures

This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of wireless communications through the integration of generative AI technologies.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of AI and mobile networks.
• Programming experience.
• Strong analytical skills.

Academic Qualifications:

• Academic background in computer science, cybersecurity, or equivalent disciplines.
• Excellent academic transcripts.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
