PhD position in Embedded AI for 6G Unmanned Aerial Networks

IMDEA Networks’ Pervasive Wireless System Group headed by Prof. Domenico Giustiniano invites applications for PhD positions in the framework of HORIZON-MSCA-2023-DN-01-01 ANT Project.

The project aims to develop embedded AI systems that can help 6G Radio Access Networks to perform demanding tasks on Unmanned Aerial Networks. The work will rely on Open Source frameworks, such as Open Air Interface, and NVIDIA embedded platforms.

The position requires:

  •   an MSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or related fields, with a     solid academic record
  •   excellent programming skills
  •   experience in signal processing, machine learning, data fusion, wireless communication 
  •   fluency in written and spoken English
  •   enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research.

 Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following conditions at the time of recruitment:

  • Mobility Rule: Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the recruitment date.
  • Research Experience: Candidates must have less than 4 years of full-time research experience after obtaining the degree that gives access to a PhD.
