Laboratory Technician position in IAG group and the Cybersecurity Group

The IAG group and the Cybersecurity Group at IMDEA Networks are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join their international research team. The candidate will assist the PIs in daily project management tasks. These include project reporting, consortium management and creation, seeking funding and research opportunities, group and research support, and engaging in tech transfer efforts and licensing.

Requirements:

– Bs.C. or Ms.C in Computer Science and any engineering discipline, international relations, business administration, economics or any related field.

– English language fluency is a must, both writing and speaking.

Desired skills:

  • Experience in project and team management, preferably in research-oriented groups and institutions.
  • Experience in team work.
  • Good knowledge in the use of spreadsheets.
  • Good knowledge of word processor software (e.g., Office) and presentation software (Powerpoint, Keynote).
