Biography

I am a research assistant and doctoral candidate at IMDEA Networks Institute, Madrid, Spain, where I joined the Networks Data Science research group in March 2024. My research is part of the Optimized Resource Integration and Global Architecture for Mobile Infrastructure for 6G (ORIGAMI) project. Over the next three years, I will work to advance the architectural models of next-generation mobile networks and remove important barriers to successful 6G technologies. In particular I am interested in network programmability and user-plane function offload.

I received my B.Eng. in Telecommunications from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2018, having completed my last academic year at TU Darmstadt, Germany, and my MSc. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies from TU Munich in January 2024. My master’s thesis titled “Towards round-trip-time guided route servers at Internet exchange points” was conducted in cooperation with DE-CIX (Europe’s largest IXP).

In between my studies, I developed professionally as a software developer and network systems engineer within the telco industry at Cognizant Technology Solutions and Juniper Networks. Furthermore, I am a certified Juniper Networks Certified Professional, Data Center (JNCIP-DC).
