The candidates will work in the Global Computing Group, led by Antonio Fernández Anta and in the Opportunistic Architectures Lab Group, led by Vincenzo Mancuso

The Global Computing Group and the Opportunistic Architectures Lab Group are looking for two research engineer to join its research effort on distributed systems, machine learning, and data analysis. The research engineer will work under the supervision of Antonio Fernandez Anta and Vicenzo Mancuso. The research engineer will be in charge of programming and deploying research experiments, performing analysis of research data, and administering the equipment of the group laboratory.

Skills Required

The position requires competences in:

  • Programming in Python and other high-level languages
  • Statistical knowledge for data analysis
  • Knowledge and experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and technologies
  • Linux system administration.
  • Network administration.

Academic Qualifications

–      Bachelor in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
