The IAG group led by Dr. Narseo Vallina-Rodriguez at IMDEA Networks Institute invites applications for a postdoc position in the area of online privacy and cybersecurity.
Candidates with a Ph.D in Computer Science and related areas are invited to apply. The post-doctoral fellow will work under the direction of Prof. Narseo Vallina-Rodriguez [https://www.narseo.com] and will primarily perform cutting-edge empirical research in the privacy domain, while assisting the PI in direct student supervision and research project development. Specifically, the candidate will be exploring new cookie-less tracking methods for cross-platform/cross-device user tracking. The position requires:
- PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, with a solid academic record including publications at top-tier conferences in the field of cybersecurity, privacy or networking.
- excellent programming skills
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organization and communication skill
- fluency in written and spoken English
- enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research.
- Past experience in building systems and experimental work in the area of online privacy, including.
- Desirable skills/interests: data analysis, mobile app analysis (either static or dynamically), JS analysis, development of scalable analysis pipelines.
