The candidate will work in the NETCOM-lab research Group, led by Albert Banchs.
The NETCOM-lab Group is looking for a Researcher to focus on advancing quantum communication technologies within our team. Key responsibilities include developing mechanisms for efficient and secure information transmission in 5G and 6G networks, and researching cloud-native approaches for Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), development of a QKD digital twin with realistic quantum link emulation and contributing to the development of a quantum Internet testbed in 5TONIC lab and exploring proof-of-concepts and use cases for quantum Internet applications.
The position requires knowledge and experience in networking technologies. In particular, the following competences will be valued:
