IMDEA Networks’ Pervasive Wireless System Group headed by Prof. Domenico Giustiniano invites applications for a PhD position in pervasive wireless systems. As a member of the team, the researcher will be involved in cutting edge system research, will participate in international projects with academic and industrial partners, and will perform experimental work with close interaction with PhD students and international collaborators.

The selected students will work on projects in the area of pervasive wireless systems, such as battery-free IoT networks and unmanned aerial networks.

The selected student will be supervised by Dr. Domenico Giustiniano, leader of IMDEA’s Pervasive Wireless Systems Group

The position requires:

• Degree / Master in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of wireless communications systems.
• Coding skills using Matlab, C/C++, Python.
• High level of English (English will be the working language)
