We’re looking for a motivated intern to join the Distributed Systems and Networks (DistSys) group at IMDEA Networks Institute to work on a project involving the measurement or simulation of blockchain systems and peer-to-peer networks.
The specific project is to be determined but will focus on analyzing real-world blockchain networks to uncover trends, performance issues, or security vulnerabilities.
Preferred Background:
- Some familiarity with blockchain protocols/cryptocurrencies is a plus (but not required)
- Strong coding skills are highly valued — experience with Golang, Rust, Java, or C++ is ideal
- Comfort with data analysis, scripting, and querying using Python
