In-house Presentation

This work investigates the feasibility of delivering distributed online multi-party gaming experiences over wireless networks using Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) architectures. By deploying distributed game components across multiple servers on an Edge emulation platform, with players connected to distinct game engines on different servers, we demonstrate that it’s possible. We also present preliminary results, analyze network constraints, and assess the continuity of gaming sessions using quality of experience metrics for both edge and cloud scenarios.  Finally, we investigate the management of gaming sessions during user mobility.
