The EC FP7 Network of Excellence TREND (Towards Real Energy-efficient Network Design – see http://www.fp7-trend.eu/ ) organizes a PhD School in the field of energy-efficient networking, encompassing all issues that relate to a wiser, more parsimonious, approach to energy consumption in networking.

The TREND PhD School will take place on July 1-5, 2013, in Torino, Italy, and will comprise lectures of industrial and academic experts in the field.
A preliminary outline of the PhD School lectures can be found at http://www.fp7-trend.eu/TREND-Phd-School
The PhD school is open to PhD students and researchers interested in green networking.
