The IMDEA Networks Institute offers one fully funded PhD position in the area of Machine Learning for mmWave Network Applications. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing activities of the Wireless Networking Group, by advancing the state of the art and designing key scientific and technological enablers of future cellular networks. WNG conducts research on all aspects of wireless communications and networking. We specifically focus on test bench experimentation in addition to analysis and simulation.

The position requires:

  • an MSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields, with a solid academic record
  • excellent programming skills
  • experience in building systems and experimental work in wireless networking
  • fluency in written and spoken English
  • enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research.
