software<\/a> (programación) – 3.076.224 euros –.<\/p>\nEn sus años de actividad, estos institutos han atraído a casi 500 investigadores de diferentes nacionalidades provenientes de centros y universidades de todo el mundo, según ha indicado en un comunicado la Comunidad de Madrid.<\/p>\n
En la actualidad, los centros tienen en marcha 230 proyectos de investigación financiados por organismos públicos en convocatorias competitivas y por diferentes empresas nacionales e internacionales.<\/p>\n
Entre ellos, por ejemplo, está 'Primicia', cuyo objeto es desarrollar nuevas estrategias para llevar al mercado alimentos de alta eficacia en el control de la inflamación crónica, con efectos en la prevención de enfermedades como la obesidad, alergias, artritis reumatoide, cáncer…<\/p>\n
'Cascatbel', otro de los programas, tiene por objeto diseñar, optimizar y escalar un proceso para producir biocombustibles líquidos de segunda generación a partir de residuos agrícolas y forestales de una manera barata a través del uso de nano-catalizadores.<\/p>\n
'Searchlight' busca, por su parte, un nuevo paradigma de comunicación para futuras redes inalámbricas ultra-rápidas.<\/p>\n
En 2014, los centros IMDEA publicaron 524 artículos científicos en revistas de alto impacto y sus investigadores participaron en alrededor de 475 conferencias plenarias o fueron invitados a congresos internacionales.<\/p>\n
Además, solicitaron 20 patentes -nueve ya están concedidas- y defendieron 23 tesis doctorales, mientras que otras 150 están actualmente en fase de elaboración.<\/p>\n
