Esta iniciativa pionera, en la que participa IMDEA Networks, tiene como objetivo llevar las tecnolog\u00edas 6G de pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n a entornos reales de fabricaci\u00f3n industrial, sentando las bases de una nueva generaci\u00f3n de manufactura inteligente.<\/p>\n<h2>Dando forma al futuro de la fabricaci\u00f3n inteligente<\/h2>\n<p>Las f\u00e1bricas est\u00e1n en constante evoluci\u00f3n, pero el ritmo y la complejidad de esta transformaci\u00f3n aumentan cada vez m\u00e1s. Las infraestructuras heredadas, los sistemas fragmentados y las limitaciones en la conectividad siguen impidiendo que los entornos de fabricaci\u00f3n alcancen todo su potencial.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRIME-6G imagina un futuro en el que las f\u00e1bricas se conviertan en ecosistemas totalmente interconectados, aut\u00f3nomos y adaptativos, impulsados por comunicaciones 6G sin interrupciones<\/strong>. Al combinar comunicaciones deterministas, automatizaci\u00f3n industrial e inteligencia computacional, el proyecto contribuir\u00e1 a desarrollar una fabricaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s flexible, sostenible y centrada en las personas, capaz de responder en tiempo real a los retos operativos, la variabilidad de la producci\u00f3n y las nuevas necesidades del mercado.<\/p>\n<p>Durante los pr\u00f3ximos 30 meses, PRIME-6G desarrollar\u00e1 una plataforma integral y sostenible basada en un continuo cloud-edge, que permitir\u00e1 el despliegue \u00e1gil y transparente de servicios en entornos de fabricaci\u00f3n inteligente. La plataforma integrar\u00e1 conectividad 6G, optimizaci\u00f3n basada en inteligencia artificial, computaci\u00f3n cloud-edge, rob\u00f3tica y capacidades de sensado en tiempo real en un sistema dise\u00f1ado para operar de forma fiable y eficiente.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_30225\" style=\"width: 626px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30225\" class=\"wp-image-30225 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/networks.imdea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/media-file-prime-6g-concept-and-vision.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"616\" height=\"405\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-30225\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Concepto y visi\u00f3n de PRIME-6G<\/p><\/div>\n<h2>Demostraciones piloto: del laboratorio a la f\u00e1brica<\/h2>\n<p>El desarrollo de PRIME-6G se estructura como una progresi\u00f3n desde entornos de laboratorio controlados hasta un demostrador industrial plenamente integrado en un entorno real.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto se articula en torno a dos casos de uso complementarios: <strong>AURORA<\/strong> (Advanced Unified Robotics Operations via Resilient Automation) y <strong>SENTINEL<\/strong> (Sensing-Enhanced Network Twin for Intelligent Environments in Manufacturing). Sus tecnolog\u00edas clave se desarrollar\u00e1n y validar\u00e1n en niveles de madurez tecnol\u00f3gica (TRL) 5-6 en dos laboratorios asociados: NEXTONIC, en Madrid, y las instalaciones de Siemens AG en M\u00fanich, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p>AURORA investiga c\u00f3mo la conectividad 6G determinista puede conectar de forma fiable sistemas virtualizados de control rob\u00f3tico con robots industriales, cumpliendo los estrictos requisitos de latencia y fiabilidad de la automatizaci\u00f3n en tiempo real. Para ello combina gesti\u00f3n de red basada en inteligencia artificial, subredes colaborativas de robots, gemelos digitales y agentes de IA que optimizan la ubicaci\u00f3n del control y la asignaci\u00f3n de recursos, haciendo posible una automatizaci\u00f3n industrial m\u00e1s \u00e1gil, aut\u00f3noma y escalable.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEn PRIME-6G,<strong> IMDEA Networks lidera el caso de uso SENTINEL, en el que utilizamos las capacidades de sensado de 6G para construir un gemelo digital en tiempo real de la planta de producci\u00f3n<\/strong> sin necesidad de desplegar infraestructuras de sensores dedicadas. Al reutilizar la propia red de comunicaciones para percibir el entorno, podemos mejorar significativamente la seguridad y la eficiencia de la colaboraci\u00f3n entre personas y robots en la fabricaci\u00f3n. Este es un claro ejemplo de c\u00f3mo el 6G va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la conectividad para convertirse en un habilitador clave de los sistemas industriales inteligentes\u00bb, explica <strong>Joerg Widmer<\/strong>, director de investigaci\u00f3n en IMDEA Networks y principal investigador del proyecto en el instituto.<\/p>\n<p>SENTINEL (Sensing-Enhanced Network Twin for Intelligent Environments in Manufacturing) emplea la fusi\u00f3n de m\u00faltiples sensores para construir gemelos digitales en tiempo real de entornos industriales din\u00e1micos. Mediante la reutilizaci\u00f3n de la infraestructura 5G\/6G existente para la monitorizaci\u00f3n continua del entorno, SENTINEL mejora la percepci\u00f3n de la situaci\u00f3n, optimiza la coordinaci\u00f3n de los robots y reduce la necesidad de desplegar sensores espec\u00edficos, contribuyendo a crear f\u00e1bricas m\u00e1s inteligentes, seguras y eficientes.<\/p>\n<p>Ambos casos de uso, <strong>AURORA y SENTINEL, se integrar\u00e1n en una plataforma unificada con un nivel de madurez tecnol\u00f3gica TRL 6-7 en ARENA2036 (Stuttgart)<\/strong>, uno de los principales centros europeos de investigaci\u00f3n en fabricaci\u00f3n inteligente. All\u00ed se demostrar\u00e1 c\u00f3mo la log\u00edstica aut\u00f3noma habilitada por 6G y el sensado ambiental en tiempo real pueden funcionar como un sistema \u00fanico y coherente en un entorno industrial real.<\/p>\n<h2>Un consorcio europeo unido por una visi\u00f3n com\u00fan<\/h2>\n<p>PRIME-6G re\u00fane a un consorcio de 13 socios procedentes de seis pa\u00edses europeos, que combinan experiencia en telecomunicaciones, automatizaci\u00f3n industrial, inteligencia artificial, rob\u00f3tica e investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto est\u00e1 coordinado por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Espa\u00f1a) y cuenta con la participaci\u00f3n de ARENA2036 e.V.
