Durante la jornada, el alumnado recorri\u00f3 tres de nuestros laboratorios m\u00e1s punteros: <strong>LiFi<\/strong>, <strong>ondas milim\u00e9tricas (millimeter wave)<\/strong> y <strong>5TONIC<\/strong>, un entorno de innovaci\u00f3n abierto en el que se dise\u00f1an y prueban tecnolog\u00edas avanzadas para redes 5G y futuras 6G.<\/p>\n<p>En el laboratorio de <strong>LiFi<\/strong>, el estudiante de doctorado <strong>Javier Talavante<\/strong> explic\u00f3 c\u00f3mo se investiga la <strong>transmisi\u00f3n y recepci\u00f3n de datos a trav\u00e9s de la luz<\/strong>, una alternativa a las comunicaciones inal\u00e1mbricas tradicionales basada en LED. Este enfoque permite alcanzar una comunicaci\u00f3n de alta velocidad con <strong>un consumo energ\u00e9tico m\u00e1s eficiente<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-28786 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/networks.imdea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/media-file-2025-06-19-visit-high-school-1-9-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>En el laboratorio de <strong>ondas milim\u00e9tricas<\/strong>, el investigador s\u00e9nior <strong>Jes\u00fas Omar Lacruz<\/strong> present\u00f3 el funcionamiento de esta tecnolog\u00eda, utilizada tanto en comunicaciones como en radar. Explic\u00f3 al grupo c\u00f3mo se est\u00e1n desarrollando las futuras redes <strong>6G<\/strong>, que no solo ofrecer\u00e1n conectividad avanzada, sino que <strong>funcionar\u00e1n como sensores capaces de percibir el entorno<\/strong>, detectando movimientos, objetos y otras variables en tiempo real.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, en el laboratorio <strong>5TONIC<\/strong>, el ingeniero de investigaci\u00f3n s\u00e9nior <strong>Ignacio Berberana<\/strong> mostr\u00f3 c\u00f3mo se colabora con empresas e instituciones para poner a prueba las \u00faltimas innovaciones en redes 5G y m\u00e1s all\u00e1, en un entorno realista y flexible que impulsa la transferencia tecnol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n<p>La visita incluy\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n una actividad participativa: un <strong>escape room tem\u00e1tico<\/strong> de Teleco Renta (proyecto PROMIN) en el que el alumnado puso a prueba sus conocimientos en telecomunicaciones, resolviendo retos inspirados en los conceptos vistos durante el recorrido.
