Sin embargo, adaptarse a esta creciente demanda de recursos de red ha resultado un desaf\u00edo debido a la necesidad de informaci\u00f3n precisa sobre el estado del canal. Obtener esta informaci\u00f3n normalmente implica una sobrecarga significativa, lo que lleva a una reducci\u00f3n en el rendimiento de la red. Adem\u00e1s, a medida que crece el n\u00famero de clientes, los gastos generales aumentan en consecuencia, lo que plantea un reto \u00fanico en el contexto de las redes masivas de sensores de IoT.<\/p>\n<p>El enfoque tradicional de predecir la respuesta del canal dentro de la misma banda de frecuencia en un enlace determinado tiene limitaciones. Este art\u00edculo galardonado presenta un concepto revolucionario: la <strong>predicci\u00f3n de canales de enlace cruzado<\/strong> (CLCP, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s). CLCP aprovecha el aprendizaje de representaci\u00f3n de vistas m\u00faltiples para pronosticar la respuesta del canal de numerosos usuarios\/as a trav\u00e9s de enlaces distintos y cercanos, sin depender de un sonido de canal dedicado o se\u00f1ales piloto adicionales. En cambio, aprovecha las transmisiones existentes, mejorando la eficiencia y reduciendo los gastos generales.<\/p>\n<p>Los investigadores <strong>han implementado con \u00e9xito CLCP para dos versiones diferentes de Wi-Fi, 802.11n y 802.11ax<\/strong>, siendo este \u00faltimo el principal candidato para futuras redes de IoT. Para demostrar la viabilidad de CLCP, el equipo llev\u00f3 a cabo evaluaciones exhaustivas en dos escenarios interiores a gran escala, que abarcan transmisiones con y sin l\u00ednea de visi\u00f3n, involucrando hasta 144 usuarios\/as diferentes de 802.11ax y cuatro anchos de banda de canal que van de 20MHz a 160MHz.<\/p>\n<p>Los resultados son nada menos que sorprendentes. CLCP supera a las soluciones b\u00e1sicas, ofreciendo una notable ganancia de rendimiento 2 veces superior a los est\u00e1ndares WiFi b\u00e1sicos, e incluso supera los algoritmos de programaci\u00f3n basados en predicciones existentes con un aumento significativo del rendimiento del 30 %. Este trabajo no solo muestra la promesa de CLCP para abordar los desaf\u00edos de la escalabilidad de la red de IoT, sino que tambi\u00e9n allana el camino para una nueva era de eficiencia incomparable en el mundo de la IoT ultradensa.
