{"id":18932,"date":"2020-11-30T13:58:40","date_gmt":"2020-11-30T12:58:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/networks.imdea.org\/?p=18932"},"modified":"2020-11-30T15:13:25","modified_gmt":"2020-11-30T14:13:25","slug":"eu-researchers-night-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/networks.imdea.org\/es\/noche-europea-de-los-investigadores-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Noche Europea de los Investigadores 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El equipo formado por <a href=\"https:\/\/networks.imdea.org\/es\/equipo\/equipo-imdea-networks\/personas\/domenico-giustiniano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Domenico Giustiniano<\/a> (Research Associate Professor), <a href=\"https:\/\/networks.imdea.org\/es\/equipo\/equipo-imdea-networks\/personas\/borja-genoves-guzman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Borja Genov\u00e9s Guzm\u00e1n<\/a> (Post-doc Researcher) y <a href=\"https:\/\/networks.imdea.org\/es\/equipo\/equipo-imdea-networks\/personas\/muhammad-sarmad-shahab-mir\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Muhammad Sarmad Shahab Mir<\/a> (PhD Student) de IMDEA Networks, adem\u00e1s de <a href=\"http:\/\/ambuj.se\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ambuj Varshney<\/a> (Post-doc Researcher), de la Universidad de California, Berkeley, participaron, el 27 de noviembre, en la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madrimasd.org\/lanochedelosinvestigadores\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Noche Europea de los Investigadores<\/a>, evento promovido por la Consejer\u00eda de Ciencia, Universidades e Innovaci\u00f3n y coordinado por la Fundaci\u00f3n madri+d (financiado por la Uni\u00f3n Europea dentro del Programa Horizonte 2020 de Investigaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<p>El dise\u00f1o del primer prototipo de dispositivo IoT sin bater\u00eda que aprovecha las ventajas de dos tecnolog\u00edas de vanguardia: LiFi y retrodispersi\u00f3n de radiofrecuencia (RF) fue el asunto central de la cita online \u201cLuz verde para la Tierra\u201d, que cont\u00f3 con una numerosa asistencia, como la propia de alumnos de 3\u00ba y 4\u00ba de la ESO y de Bachillerato de los Institutos de Educaci\u00f3n Secundaria <a href=\"https:\/\/www.educa2.madrid.org\/web\/centro.ies.albeniz.leganes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Isaac Alb\u00e9niz<\/a> (Legan\u00e9s) y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.educa2.madrid.org\/web\/centro.ies.claracampoamor.mostoles#ad-image-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Clara Campoamor<\/a> (M\u00f3stoles).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"154\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-18936 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/networks.imdea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/green-light-for-the-earth-2-300x154.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>Con el lema \u201cLa creaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00eda sostenible es posible\u201d, los investigadores procedieron a mostrar un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zuG6CBOdAiE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">v\u00eddeo<\/a> (tambi\u00e9n mostrado en la Semana de la Ciencia y la Innovaci\u00f3n) y una demo que suscit\u00f3 el inter\u00e9s de los participantes por sus potenciales aplicaciones en el \u00e1mbito, por ejemplo, del \u201cInternet de las Cosas\u201d (se ha publicado, a principios de a\u00f1o, una versi\u00f3n preliminar de este trabajo en la prestigiosa conferencia ACM Mobisys 2020 y se pueden seguir los futuros resultados del proyecto en el sitio web <a href=\"https:\/\/enlightem.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.enlightem.eu<\/a>, as\u00ed como en las redes sociales). Como coment\u00f3 uno de los docentes participantes: \u201cLos alumnos se han mostrado participativos y estuvieron muy atentos a la reuni\u00f3n. Les damos la enhorabuena\u00a0 a los investigadores por los dispositivos que est\u00e1n desarrollando y espero que muy pronto formen parte de nuestra vida cotidiana\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, <a href=\"https:\/\/networks.imdea.org\/es\/equipo\/equipo-imdea-networks\/personas\/arturo-azcorra\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arturo Azcorra<\/a>, director de IMDEA Networks Institute, particip\u00f3, desde la Residencia de Estudiantes de Madrid en el encuentro \u201cGrandes cient\u00edficas en la gran pantalla\u201d, en el que representantes de los siete Institutos IMDEA hablaron sobre las trayectorias de cient\u00edficas relevantes en su \u00e1rea de investigaci\u00f3n como para merecer ser protagonistas en la \u201cgran pantalla\u201d. En el caso de Azcorra, opt\u00f3 por hablar sobre el caso de una mujer que no fue investigadora como tal, sino estrella de Hollywood: Hedy Lamarr, precursora del 5G.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-18935 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/networks.imdea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/arturo-azcorra-european-researchers-night-300x119.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"292\" height=\"116\" \/>El director de IMDEA Networks denomin\u00f3 a Lamarr como una \u2018Leonardo da Vinci\u2019 moderna, por sus aportaciones (autodidactas) a la ciencia, como en el caso de sus investigaciones sobre la aerodin\u00e1mica de aviones y la primera t\u00e9cnica de radio de espectro ensanchado para control de torpedos, \u201calgo con una profundidad t\u00e9cnica muy compleja\u201d (el inicio de un campo de investigaci\u00f3n que se lleg\u00f3 a utilizar para el 3G).
