I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Distributed Systems and Networks (DistSys) Group at IMDEA Networks Institute in Madrid, Spain, under the guidance of Dr. Lucianna Kiffer. My research focuses on providing formal guarantees for scalable solutions designed for the Ethereum blockchain.
Before joining IMDEA Networks, I completed my Ph.D. at the Department of Electronics and Systems Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), under the supervision of Dr. Joy Kuri. My doctoral thesis, titled “Enhancing Blockchain Security and Efficiency: Solutions for Micropayments, Payment Channels, and IoT Applications,” addresses various security and scalability challenges in Bitcoin, off-chain solutions, and IoT applications based on the Ethereum blockchain. My primary research interest lies in developing secure and scalable solutions for blockchain protocols.
Prior to my Ph.D., I earned an M.Tech. in Computer Science with a specialization in Information Security from ABV-IIITM Gwalior, where I was mentored by Dr. Karm Veer Arya. I also served as an Assistant Professor at Symbiosis College, Pune, in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, where I taught courses on Data Structures and Operating Systems. My research primarily focuses on applied cryptography and Blockchain.
Outside of academia, I have a keen interest in painting, playing badminton, and traveling. In my free time, I enjoy listening to classic Bollywood music.
