The presentation will also address the challenges of managing dynamic environments and ensuring interoperability, emphasizing the role of open frameworks in achieving seamless integration. These advancements highlight the potential of NTNs to enable efficient, resilient, and globally connected networks, offering a glimpse into the future of 6G.

About Eduardo Baena

Eduardo Baena is a postdoctoral researcher at Northeastern University’s Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things. His work focuses on designing and implementing advanced architectures for 6G networks, with a particular emphasis on Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs), joint communications and sensing, and RAN applications development.

Eduardo is actively involved in the development of experimental platforms, such as the x5G testbed, to validate next-generation wireless technologies. His research interests include intelligent network orchestration, AI-driven resource management, and the integration of space-based communication systems. Eduardo collaborates with academic and industry partners to contribute to the evolution of global connectivity in 6G networks.
