The purpose of this "Privacy Policy" is to disclose the general conditions that will govern the collection and processing of personal data through this Portal, imdea.org. IMDEA aims to be the new institutional framework in the Community of Madrid that combines public and private support for science and orients research towards market demands, encouraging the private sector to participate in the design of science. IMDEA currently consists of seven Institutes differentiated by their scientific areas of specialization: WATER, FOOD, ENERGY, MATERIALS, Nanoscience, NETWORKS and SOFTWARE.

Mediterráneo 22, 28918 Leganés (Madrid) will keep you informed of the conditions of use and processing of personal data collected through the Website, either through general information that will be available through this Privacy Policy, or through the different layers of information in the specific forms from which personal data are collected and in the specific sections included in the websites of each of the institutes.  These sites will provide detailed information on the use and processing that will be carried out in each particular case.

What will we process your data for and how will it be processed?

We inform you that, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the data collected through this Portal will be processed by IMDEA Networks.

Browsing through our website does not require prior registration, but when you browse, our web servers store information necessary for the proper functioning of the website, such as the IP address and the domain from which access is obtained, the date and time of the visit, etc.

In addition to the above, there are other data provided indirectly by the User that are obtained through their browsing activity and the installation on their device of different cookies in accordance with the provisions of our Cookies Policy.
