Biography

I’m a Data Scientist and Telecommunications Engineer specialized in large-scale data processing, employing complex statistical analysis and AI solutions into computer networks.

My interests are in measuring and sensing mobile networks, in order to create pipelines and data sets that gain insights on how users interact with smartphones, their spatio-temporal consumption patterns and the complex dynamics of the mobile application ecosystem. These sets can be extremely useful not only for network researchers, but for a multi-disciplinary area of data-driven research, such as transportation, sociology and epidemiology.

I’m currently in the last few months of my PhD and looking for new adventures in industry, specially in the area of measuring and sensing computer networks. I’ll soon be starting a new Spring/Summer internship in ThousandEyes/Cisco. I was a Visiting PhD Researcher at the University of Cambridge and Ranplan Wireless (Cambridge, UK) and in SENSE/Orange Labs (Paris, France). I’m a part of the BANYAN Project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
